Create experiences that build real connection.
Hello, I’m Natalie. I’m a strategic communications, brand, and experience leader with a background that spans art, design, research, technology, business, marketing, and higher education. My work is rooted in understanding people and systems, and in creating experiences that are clear, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive of those who use them.
I began my career in 1997 as a freelance illustrator and self-taught web designer, and over time that creative foundation grew into a career focused on building digital platforms, communications, and experiences centered on real human needs. My approach blends visual thinking, technology, and research into human behavior, allowing me to turn complexity into clarity and insight into action.
I am known for bringing curiosity, calm, and structure to complex challenges. I work closely with leaders and teams to strengthen connection, engagement, and trust, whether in a startup, a nonprofit, a university, or a large organization. My experience across many sectors has taught me how to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and guide teams toward solutions that are both practical and meaningful.
I hold a master’s degree in Computer Graphics Design and Information Technology, along with professional training in Agile and IT service management. These tools support my work, but it is my ability to communicate clearly, align people, and stay grounded under pressure that defines how I lead.
Outside of work, I am a practicing artist and designer, a yoga enthusiast, an avid hiker, and someone who loves interior design, cooking and baking. Creating beautiful, welcoming spaces and experiences, whether in a home, a classroom, or a digital environment, reflects how I show up in the world and in my work.
